THE Greenbutts™ FILTER
SUSTAINABLE

Plant based Greenbutts™ filters are made of a proprietary and patented blend of all-natural, food-grade fibers utilizing a starch-based binder. A sustainable alternative to synthesized cellulose acetate.

Greenbutts™ filters substrate was specifically designed to work on existing filter-making machinery to facilitate a seamless transition for the cigarette industry to move away from acetate filter production.

FULLY COMPATIBLE

Greenbutts™, filters are made without using synthetic materials or plasticizers, making them the go-to alternative for the cigarette industry to comply with ever-increasing Single-Use Plastics Directive (SUPD) requirements and regulations.

NO PLASTIC
RAPIDLY BIODEGRADING

Our filter material has been shown to degrade in compost within a matter of days and disperse in water within minutes.
